As a Toyota Service Advisor
, you will guide customers through the service process - from check-in to vehicle delivery. You'll communicate service recommendations, prepare accurate estimates, secure necessary approvals, and ensure every customer leaves confident in the care their vehicle received.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document service requests

POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work and selling additional service to customers at dealership gross profit, dollars/RO and customer satisfaction standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Service Advisor is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service to all Hoselton guests;
  • Greeting customers, scheduling service appointments and receiving vehicle information;
  • Listening to requests of the service desired and clearly explaining information on the repair order;
  • Interpreting customer concerns/comments, so that the technician will diagnose problems correctly;
  • Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs;
  • Translating the technician's findings, which may be very complex, into language the customer will understand;
  • Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, considering the customer's schedule;
  • Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems;
  • Obtaining customer approval to do additional work, explaining the work performed and the charges being billed;
  • Following up to ensure customers are scheduled for special order parts installation
  • Closing out repair orders in a timely manner; and
  • Resolving all guest complaints in an efficient and positive manner.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed
