Job Position: Parts Stock

Job Overview CDJR of West Islip is seeking a dependable Parts Driver and Stock Associate to support our fast‑paced parts and logistics department. This entry‑level role offers a solid introduction to the automotive parts industry, combining customer service, delivery operations, and in‑store inventory support. Many automotive professionals begin their careers in this position.

This position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a one‑hour lunch.

Empire Automotive Group has officially opened our brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art service facility — a major milestone for our organization. This impressive building features more than 50 service lifts, expanded capacity, and cutting‑edge equipment designed to elevate both customer care and technician efficiency. It’s a modern, high‑performance environment built for growth, speed, and excellence.

You’ll be joining a service department that values technical skill, professional development, and a strong commitment to quality. We offer competitive compensation, ongoing training, and a supportive environment where motivated individuals can build a long‑term career.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time and coordinate with the parts team to review the day’s delivery schedule.
  • Check in, verify, and put away the morning order and all UPS deliveries.
  • Stage parts for wholesale deliveries and deliver orders as needed.
  • Load and organize parts in the delivery vehicle; ensure all paperwork matches the route.
  • Reconcile payments with invoices and delivered parts; process customer returns professionally.
  • Scrap warranty parts and process core returns according to policy.
  • Level shelves, count bins, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Keep the parts department and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Operate company vehicles responsibly and represent the dealership professionally.
  • Support new business opportunities when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably, prior professional driving experience.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and calculators.
  • Desire to maintain customer satisfaction with fast, efficient service.
  • Ability to learn automotive computer and parts numbering systems.
  • Basic knowledge and interest in cars.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
