We are seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our growing team and help provide excellent service to our customers and technicians.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed

Work Requirements:

  • Work Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (Saturday rotation as needed)

  • Ability to Commute: Lihue, HI (Required)

  • Work Location: In person

Role Summary

The Parts Counter Person will be responsible for assisting both internal service technicians and external customers in identifying, ordering, and obtaining the correct automotive parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and locating parts using catalogs or databases

  • Handle parts orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking incoming and outgoing parts

  • Provide quotes, invoices, and receipts to customers and technicians

  • Ensure the parts counter and storage areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked

  • Assist in verifying parts deliveries and inspecting incoming shipments

  • Communicate effectively with service and sales departments to meet internal needs

  • Stay updated on Ford OEM parts, accessories, and promotions

  • Deliver top-notch customer service and maintain professionalism at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Parts Counter Person or in a similar automotive parts role preferred

  • Ford or dealership experience a plus

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities

  • Computer literacy with parts or inventory management software

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent
