Job description

York Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our growing Fixed Operations team. The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards while delivering a high level of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform multi-point inspections and document findings accurately.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using OEM tools.
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain technician efficiency and productivity standards.
  • Accurately document repair orders and technician notes.
  • Minimize comebacks through proper repair verification and quality control.
  • Follow dealership safety policies and OSHA compliance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Shop Foreman.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties that may not appear in this description.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of automotive repair experience (dealership experience preferred).
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • OEM factory training certifications preferred.
