ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of driver operations, routing execution, and customer service delivery. This role ensures efficient scheduling, effective communication with stakeholders, and consistent adherence to operational standards across fixed route and charter services.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN Operations & Dispatch
  • Coordinate driver scheduling for fixed route and charter services
  • Dispatch daily operations and assist drivers with routes and itineraries
  • Support routing activities to maintain service efficiency
Driver Management
  • Monitor driver attendance and performance
  • Conduct driver interviews and support hiring processes
  • Administer disciplinary action as needed
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact for Board of Education, drivers, and parents
  • Respond promptly to operational and service-related inquiries
Administrative & Payroll
  • Prepare and process weekly driver payroll
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation
Other
  • Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING Experience
  • 1+ year of transportation or operations experience preferred
Licensing (Preferred)
  • CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred (not required)
Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • High level of flexibility, initiative, and accountability
