Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Director to lead the Fixed Operations department for our high-volume Toyota dealership in Dallas, Texas. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations, driving profitability, improving operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive fixed operations leadership, prior dealership Service Director experience, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Service Department, including service advisors, technicians, warranty administration, and customer experience
• Drive department profitability through effective management of labor sales, gross profit, expense control, and productivity
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators including CSI, retention, technician efficiency, ELR, warranty, and service lane performance
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable all service department staff to ensure strong performance and team culture
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and operational best practices
• Partner closely with dealership leadership to support overall store performance and long-term growth
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention through excellent service processes and leadership presence
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and overall department performance

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of automotive dealership fixed operations leadership experience
• Prior Service Director experience strongly preferred
• Toyota dealership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of dealership financials, service operations, warranty, and fixed ops reporting
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams
• Strong communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on performance, process, and guest satisfaction
