Summary: Are you a customer-focused individual with a knack for financial transactions? Beck Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Cashier to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of customer satisfaction, ensuring seamless payment processing and creating lasting impressions. Essential Duties:

  • Greet customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; accurately record amounts received.
  • Make change and issue receipts to customers.
  • Provide refunds or credit memorandums to customers as needed.
  • Perform basic accounting and administrative duties using company software.
  • Communicate professionally via multiline telephone and email.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Accounting Department, Supervisor, and Dealership Managers.
  • Maintain a daily cash drawer reconciliation.
  • Stay informed about new products and services offered, their features, value, and pricing changes.
  • Answer customer questions about services performed or products purchased or refer them to the appropriate individuals.
  • Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise, ensuring appropriate resolution.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and keep the work area neat and clean.
  • Commitment to always perform duties ethically and in compliance to legal laws and company policy.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required;
  • One year of automotive experience is highly desired, but not required
  • One Year of administrative experience preferred, three to six months related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Proficiency in basic accounting, basic math, and financial calculations.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle various situations effectively.

  • Ability to provide exhibit great customer service skills
  • Be able to create and maintain positive employee relationships
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Maintain professional business attire and appearance
  • Self-starter and ability to be a great team player
  • Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
