Position: Audit Supervisor
Job Location: Hauppauge, NY
Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
We are a growing midsize CPA firm specializing in the audits of labor unions and their related fringe benefit funds. We have three locations. Our home office is in Hauppauge and we have offices in Iselin, NJ and Floral Park, NY. Our local clients are on Long Island, NYC, Long Island City and NJ. We have travel accounts up and down the east coast. We are currently looking for an experienced supervisor to work on the audit side of our accounting team.
This position will require travel, up to 30-40%.
Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee audit engagements
  • Manage and train staff
  • Compliance with GAAP
  • Completing or assisting staff with completing: 990's, LM-2's, 5500's

Experience:
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience with labor unions, employee benefit funds
  • Caseware
  • MS Suite
  • Time management skills
  • Detail oriented
