Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems for meetings, conferences,
    and events.
  • Provide on-site support for flawless execution of events.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth experience for all users.
  • Stay updated on the latest audio-visual technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements as needed.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with conference service managers to understand audio-visual requirements for various functions.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on the proper use of audio-visual equipment and systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of equipment, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Mork closely with IT, facilities, and other relevant departments to integrate audio-visual systems with existing
    infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized audio-visual projects.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience with audio visual technology, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, video conferencing systems, and lighting.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in audio-visual technology.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting complex AV systems, as well as strong knowledge of proper equipment rack wiring standards and event best practices.
  • Experience with major industry manufacturers including QSC, Crestron, Cisco, Microsoft, Biamp, and/or Poly.
  • General proficiency with computers and specialized software applications specific to the AV industry (i.e. Crestron; the use of programs such as MS Excel, Outlook, Project, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and address technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
