Job description

If you're an attorney looking for more ownership over your cases and less emphasis on volume, this opportunity may be worth a conversation.

Many civil defense practices in Southern California are built around high caseloads, constant deadlines, and limited involvement in litigation strategy.

This firm offers a different environment. Attorneys manage their own cases, work directly with partners, and play an active role in moving matters from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own cases with meaningful autonomy and partner support
  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Appear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and related proceedings
  • Work directly with clients and insurance carriers
  • Assist with trial preparation and attend trial

Why this opportunity stands out:

  • Greater ownership over cases and litigation strategy
  • Direct access to partners and decision-makers
  • Meaningful client interaction
  • Collaborative team environment
  • Hybrid flexibility and long-term growth opportunities

The firm continues to grow and is adding attorneys to support an expanding litigation practice.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $125,000 - $175,000 + bonus
  • Structured bonus opportunities and merit-based growth
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
  • Hybrid schedule with flexibility

If you're looking to move from a high-volume practice into a role with greater ownership, stronger partner collaboration, and meaningful client interaction, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
