Responsibilities include: * Administer, maintain, and optimize cloud-hosted application instances across Azure environments.
* Deploy and manage both web-based and desktop-based applications, including application delivery via Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
* Design, implement, and maintain integration workflows between SaaS platforms, VM-hosted applications, and third-party APIs.
* Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and usage; proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
* Manage application and infrastructure configurations, including patching, updates, version control, and security/compliance enforcement.
* Implement automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks using DevOps best practices.
* Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements: * Must be a US citizen
* 4-5 years of experience in cloud application administration and integration engineering.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
* Must be a US citizen.
* Must have an active Secret security clearance and be willing to attain a TS/SCI clearance.
* Security+ required, but can be worked after hiring
* Strong understanding of Azure services including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, and Azure Networking.
* Experience managing and deploying both web-based and desktop-based applications in virtualized or cloud-hosted environments.
* Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* MS Azure cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate)
* Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge computing integration strategies.
* Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.).
* Background in enterprise application integration (EAI) or data integration platforms.
* Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and role-based access controls
* Knowledge of data governance, compliance frameworks.
* Background in scripting or automation.
