Purpose of Position

As part of our Site Reliability Engineering team, you will design, build, and optimize systems that power the leader in private aviation-ensuring high availability, performance, and efficiency across airline operations, customer experience, and logistics platforms. If you're motivated by solving large-scale reliability challenges, reducing toil through automation, and continuously improving system health, we're excited to have you on our team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Drive the design and implementation of reliable, scalable software solutions, ensuring new features and enhancements meet availability, resilience, and performance standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams-including architecture, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, and data-to design and implement systems that balance business functionality with operational reliability and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, repeatable, and efficient build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Embed quality and security into the software lifecycle by implementing automated testing, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and pipeline enforcement (e.g., unit test coverage, static analysis, and compliance checks).
  • Develop and enhance observability and operational practices (monitoring, alerting, logging) to proactively detect and respond to system issues.
  • Work within an agile environment to iteratively deliver high-impact improvements while continuously improving system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

  • 2-4 years of experience in software engineering or related roles, with a strong understanding of system design, scalability, and production support.
  • Proficient in scripting and programming (e.g., Python) to automate operational tasks, reduce toil, and improve system reliability is a must. Experience with API integration and tooling is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), including compute, networking, and storage services. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and distributed system architectures is a plus.
  • Exposure to supporting Jenkins, WebSphere, BitBucket, Git, Nexus, Tomcat, and APM Tools (e.g., Datadog).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead or contribute effectively during incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and cross-team coordination.
