Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an Emissions Test Technician to support a leading automotive client. This individual will be responsible for executing vehicle emissions and performance testing on chassis dynamometers, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to engineering and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in emissions testing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare test vehicles on chassis dynamometers following standard procedures
  • Operate chassis dyno systems and emissions analyzers based on engineering test requests
  • Conduct vehicle testing using prescribed drive cycles or engineer-directed test profiles
  • Perform particulate filter measurements, ensuring proper handling in controlled environments
  • Support daily test scheduling and ensure timely completion of testing activities
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of test cells and equipment
  • Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme hot and cold test chambers


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (Associate degree or trade school certification preferred)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with chassis dynamometer emissions testing
