Our personalized portfolios utilize individual securities, BlackRock Mutual Funds, and iShares ETFs to customize, diversify, and tailor investment solutions to high net worth/ultra-high net worth, mass affluent, and institutional clients.

We're looking foraTechnical ProjectManagerto support the delivery of cross-functional, productand platformfocused initiatives critical tothe growth and operational excellence of our core productsand services. This role is ideal for someone who isa problem-solver,execution oriented,technicallyfluent, and comfortable operating incomplextechnology and business domains.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional partners to help move initiatives from planning through execution.You will play a meaningful role in driving progress, maintaining alignment, and ensuring teams have the structure and visibility they need to deliver.

Responsibilities

  • Supportand drivecross-functional technical and product initiatives through planning, execution, delivery, and post-launch follow-up

  • Provide hands-onprojectsupport across the software development lifecycle, including planning, dependency tracking, progress monitoring, risk identification,incident management,and stakeholder communications

  • Partner with engineering, product, and operations to maintain strong collaboration and clear communication across teams

  • Help manage timelines, dependencies, and competing priorities across multiple teams and initiatives

  • Instrument and monitorprogramhealth using metrics andderived insights

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives for one or more teams

  • Contribute to improving processes, documentation, andworkflowsto increase execution speed, visibility, and team effectiveness

  • Use tooling, automation, and AI assisted workflows where appropriate to support planning, reporting, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+years of experienceworking withproduct andengineeringteams in a technical program management, project management,software development,or similar role

  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile delivery methodologies

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional work with multiple stakeholders and dependencies

  • Proficiency with tools such asAzure DevOps,Jira,Confluence,Airtable, and AI-enabled tools used throughout the planning and delivery phases of projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicateto technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modernsoftware development practices, languages and frameworks

  • Experience working inwealth management, financial services or other regulated industries

For SF4-San Francisco - 400 Howard Street and SAU - 3 Harbor Dr, Suite 204, Sausalito, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$125,000.00 - USD$155,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
