Outside Lease Sales Representative
Position Summary
Truckway Leasing and Rental Company is looking to expand our Sales team. We want an aggressive, highly motivated, sales-minded individual to help us grow our business in and around the Lexington, Louisville KY/ Jeffersonville IN market!
The Outside Lease Sales Representative is responsible for business development of our Leasing lines along with finding and developing new maintenance service opportunities to help us grow our business. This role offers a competitive salary, commission, car allowance and an industry leading benefits package including medical benefits and 401k. This role will report to the President.
General Responsibilities for our Outside Lease Sales Representative:
  • Regular contact with potential prospects selling a wide variety of products including leasing agreements to the transportation industry
  • Help prepare estimates and quote pricing on truck leasing opportunities
  • Monitor and provide feedback on the company’s industry competitors, new services, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professional
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Qualifications for Outside Lease Sales Representative:
  • Must have the competitive drive to meet or exceed sales targets and quotes.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior Truck Leasing / sales experience required
  • Must have customer service, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Able to communicate effectively both in-person and through written correspondences with peers, managers, and leadership.
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
