Associate Clinical Research Coordinator - Lisle, IL (Onsite, multiple locations)

We have an incredible opportunity for a Clinical Research Administrator to join ICON's Accellacare team. The Administrator is an integral part of the team providing administrative support, calendar management, and supporting Clinical Research Coordinators for clerical assigned tasks in according with SOPs and ICH-GCP.

This role is with Accellacare, part of ICON's clinical research network, where you'll play a key role in transforming the clinical trial experience for patients and sponsors alike. Our global site network is designed with one goal in mind: to deliver better access, greater efficiency, and improved outcomes in clinical research.

Location: Full-Time Onsite at Accellacare Duly Health & Care (Primary Site:

430 Warrenville Rd Lisle, IL 60532 but will travel to sites in Lombard, Winfield, and Oak Lawn, IL)

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm (no weekends or holidays)

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of the clinical research site
  • Ensuring patient notes are ready for the following day's schedule
  • Complete training on Clinical Trial Management System and maintain skills to update the database, complete participant reimbursement, capture referral source of participants, and create call lists to promote recruitment
  • Ensure all study visits are scheduled appropriately and within visit windows determined by individual protocols
  • Responsible for reception, answering calls, and placing appointment reminder calls to patients
  • Ensuring the site is a welcoming environment for patients and that patients are treated with dignity and privacy
  • Supporting the Site Manager with services coordination such as vendor management, purchasing, and supply management
  • Responsible for processing patient payments and site related invoices
  • Assisting the Clinical Research Coordinators with documentation and data entry/queries
  • May assist with laboratory duties such as performing quality assurance review, restocking of supplies, and processing of specimens
  • Assisting the Clinical Research Coordinators or other staff members with creating and copying patient files for study closeout procedures
  • Travel to multiple Duly Health & Care sites within the Accellacare network

Your Profile:

  • 6+ months of administrative or clerical experience
  • Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with study participants and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software applications as needed
  • Associates Degree

Salary Range
