POSITION INFO:

Pattern Repair associate works to promote vision and values by inspecting and repairing all core boxes and patterns. Creating new patterns from wood and aluminum by following blueprints and making necessary changes per engineering request.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Creating a prototype pattern
  • Repair patterns and core boxes as needed and build new patterns and core boxes.
  • Working knowledge of gating, pattern and core box/pattern design
  • Must become proficient in working with urethane and other chemicals for pattern duplication.
  • Able to use endmill, lathe, drill press and other shop machinery.
EDUCATION:

HS diploma or equivalent

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

Blue print interpretation

Endmill, lathe, drill press and otehr shop machinery

Proficient in working with urethane and other chemicals

Verbal and written communication skills

Experience using calipers and micrometers
