Job Overview:

The EEG Pruning Technologist is responsible for reviewing and condensing, or pruning, EEG studies and preparing preliminary results for Neurologist review.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Pre-screen and prune EEG studies conducted on patients in preparation for Neurologist review
  • Input patient demographics and exam details into a report format for Neurologist review
  • Verify EEG studies have been imported properly from EEG Technicians
  • Compile list of missing items and notify appropriate personnel
  • Assist in identifying issues hardware, software or operational
  • Work within the scope of the American Society of EEG Technology guidelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
