Position Summary...Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Maintain Grocery Department Standards
Keeps the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
Stock Rotation and Product Quality
Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
Pricing, Signing, and Inventory Accuracy
Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
Food Safety and Sanitation
Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
Stocking and Modular Execution
Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
Health and Safety Compliance
Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
