What is the opportunity?

As an Associate Portfolio Manager, PH&N Investment Counsel, you are a member of a professional team responsible for building and managing a high performance investment counselling franchise. You will work with experienced Investment Counsellors to build customized investment strategies for high net worth individuals, trust, and charitable foundations. What will you do?

  • Proactively identify, investigate and resolve client inquiries and provide the Investment Counsellors with recommendations for resolution of complex situations

  • Develop, document and maintain a profile for each client including next steps to increase and solidify the relationship

  • Proactively participate in regional/national projects that seek to continuously improve upon client solutions as well as operation efficiencies.

  • Assist in the construction of customized investment strategies, models, proposals, and action plans for existing and potential clients.

  • Implement action plans and pro-actively manage client portfolios to ensure highest level of return and service to the client.

  • Ensure client portfolios are structured and managed within parameters outlined in the Investment Policy Statement.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Successful completion of CFA level 1 with intention to complete

  • CSC

  • Minimum of 5 years Investment industry experience

  • Portfolio management experience (3 years plus)

  • University Degree (preferably in business and/or economics)

Nice to Have

  • CFA designation

  • CIM designation

  • CFP designation
