Overview

As the Associate Manager - Brand Partnerships you are responsible for client project and relationship management, providing clients with innovating short and long-term strategic sponsorship guidance. This role requires you to support integrated communications across the various Publicis divisions and guide programs through flawless execution with the support of senior resources and external partners. This person must demonstrate strategic capability, influencing skills and sound business acumen in order to instill confidence in external clients + internal partners, as well as strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects and workflow across a wide range of internal partners.

Functional Overview:

The role will require you to manage and/or support the management of the client account, including developing strategic plans in partnership with the Manager & Director of Brand Partnerships and respective Publicis account brand teams. The planning process will include, but not be limited to, strategic sponsorship territory and platform development, sponsorship proposal and portfolio valuation, program assessment, data analysis and insights development, concept and integrated marketing plan development, objective and KPI setting, and preparation of client presentations. In addition, the Associate Manager must manage internal teams and external IAT partner, research and event vendors to ensure timely preparation of critical paths, work back schedules, pre and post program reviews, and tender documentation while adhering to operational and financial Publicis policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as a secondary contact with clients, providing innovative short-and long-term strategic marketing guidance
  • Developing a positive and communicative relationship with all clients
  • Fully understand all aspects of the clients' business and their competitive business environment
  • Support management of select sponsorship relationships for clients
  • Review new sponsorship opportunities for a client, create POV to support alignment with client's objectives
  • Support contract negotiations and contract management for specific sponsorship investments on behalf of clients
  • Prepare reports and presentations detailing project specifics, suggestions for optimization, and results
  • Support organic growth with accounts and external new business strategies
  • Taking an active role building the clients' businesses, generating new strategies, and anticipating sponsorship and integrated marketing needs
  • Taking a support role in communicating account activity throughout the agency to stimulate opportunities across new and existing clients
  • Research properties throughout North American to continue to build and develop agency data
  • Account-based budgeting, forecasting and hours tracking
  • Taking an active role in building a positive agency culture
  • Lead and/or support workshops and learning sessions for staff and clients
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sponsorship marketing experience
  • Agency experience preferred but open to corporate and/or property experience
