About the Roleย 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Manager to lead and manage complex contractual engagements across our global customer base. ย As part of our Contracts team, you will work closely with our sales, bids and proposals, demand, program management, delivery and finance teams on contracting strategies, risk mitigation, compliance and lead contract negotiations.ย  As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, mitigating risk and optimizing contract performance.ย  ย ย ย 

Primary Responsibilitiesย 

  • Collaborate with sales, bids and proposals, demand, program management, delivery, trade compliance, and finance teams to support proposal development and lead contract drafting and negotiation
  • Serve as the primary point for contact regarding pre and post contract-related matters with both internal stakeholders and customers
  • Work on large-scale, complex programs and align the necessary contract and risk management activities and requirements inherent in these programs
  • Effectively communication complex concepts into clear, actionable language facilitating understanding and agreement resulting in increased speed to contract execution
  • Ensure compliance with company and government procurement policies, procedures and requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contracts and related correspondence, including contract risk summaries
  • Perform all contract management activities related to contract execution, order acceptance and order entry
  • Assist with developing and improving contract operations including contract management, template management, and playbook and policy maintenance.

  • A strong understanding of Government, Defense and OEM procurement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
  • Advanced understanding of contract provisions as well as terminology and risks.
  • Ability to lead with a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% annually

Desired Education and Experiencesย 

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, law or a related field
  • Bring 6+ years' experience in contracting; 3+ years' experience in Government contracting, preferably within the Defense industryย 
    • In lieu of a degree, 10 years relevant experience in contracting; 3+ years' experience in Government contracting, preferably within the Defense industry
  • You must possess, or be able to obtain, NATO secret clearance
  • Strong negotiation skills and mastery of contract drafting
  • Excellent communication, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, CRM, CLM tools
