Job description

Earl May Garden Center is looking for an associate manager / sales associate for our location in south Des Moines, Iowa.
The ideal candidate will:
  • have high energy and a positive attitude
  • have excellent interpersonal skills
  • be a self-starter
  • have a strong work ethic
  • have strong decision-making and leadership skills
  • be sales-driven
  • have previous experience working in a retail or service environment
  • be able to lift 50 pounds
  • be able to work variable hours/shifts
  • have a valid driver's license
  • Horticulture knowledge or landscape experience is a plus, but we will train if needed.

Previous management, sales and landscape design experience are a definite plus for full time positions.
Full time positions include competitive pay and benefits package. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance; a 401k plan, employee discount and paid time off.
