JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for growing and maintaining customer accounts in the pulp and paper industry. This includes team management, customer communication, discovering of opportunities, trial planning, and trial execution.
Lead and manage account representatives, support engineers, & technicians
Manage safety initiatives, customer site technical sales & service personnel, treatment program performance monitoring/documentation, and overall customer meetings & communication of business expectations & results.
Maintain and build business/customer relationships.
Meet sales, gross profit, product mix/profitability while returning value and savings to the customer.
JOB COMPLEXITY:
Independently performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Researches assignments, processes, and analyzes data and may develop recommendations. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. Will provide leadership and direction for the account. May need to determine methods, operations, sequences; develops and/or modifies products and equipment to requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead Daily Management of the safety, quality, delivery, and inventory of applications
  • Support and perform standard work as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate weekly and monthly reports, maintain inventory, order materials, equipment uptime
  • Perform data analysis on program performance.
  • Assists with customer technical issues, brings any issues to the customers attention and work with area and district managers to put together a plan for corrective action.
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Pursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer value.
  • Supports application equipment from design through end of life
  • Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical and Paper strongly preferred)
  • Would prefer at least 5 years operation integrational pulp mill experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Ability to build client relationships easily
  • Documented results using a consultive sales process
  • Presentation skills and ability to convey product value as a financial payback for the customer
  • High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of complex product portfolio
  • Analytical ability and great problem-solving skills
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel
  • Documented results solving complex and non-routine technical problems
  • Project management of complex projects
  • Experience learning new concepts and/or technology and applying them
  • Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,850.00 and $148,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
