Job description

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Manager to join our Growth Strategy and Operations Team
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves-one that behaves like a doctor in the family.
About the role:
The Manager, Growth Operations is a cross-functional strategy and operations role supporting growth projects across Oscar Health. You will manage structured workstreams, summarize inputs across teams, support executive-ready materials, and help translate priorities into operational execution.
You will report into the Associate Director of Strategic Growth.
Work Location: This position is based in our New York office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $106,812 - $140,190.75 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, planning, and execution of major strategic commercial projects and growth priorities
  • Drive collaboration across teams and external teams to ensure seamless follow-on execution of shared business targets
  • Coordinate the development of executive presentations for senior leadership, summarizing inputs across multiple departments
  • Manage daily high-priority requests, rapid-response strategic tasks, and critical operational coordination to maintain overall organizational velocity
  • Partner with analytical and finance teams to quantitatively size business cases for new commercial priorities
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in strategy and operations, management consulting, corporate development, or a related growth-focused role
  • 4+ years of experience managing complex workstreams or projects

Bonus points:
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations that distill nuanced challenges into clear, applicable strategies for corporate leadership
  • Experience supporting strategy development and execution of workstreams
  • Experience performing quantitative analysis, including building basic financial or operational models to support strategic corporate decision-making
  • Experience navigating corporate structures where rapid adaptation and proactive relationship-building are required to achieve results
