Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct digital engineering (DE) studies to develop virtual robot programs and validate new model process feasibility.
  • Verify and maintain accuracy of Digital Factory conditions.
  • Create weld schedule instruction sheets and supporting technical documentation.
  • Perform new model support studies and process validations.
  • Support Machine Seibi activities including robot programming at vendor and manufacturing locations.
  • Prepare and validate new or modified body weld equipment at vendor and plant sites.
  • Develop and implement equipment countermeasures during planning, setup, and trial phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth new model launches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (or higher) in a technical field OR minimum 2 years of experience in robot programming.
  • Experience programming industrial robots using teach pendants and/or offline programming tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Delmia (C3/Carott3) or similar 3D simulation software.
  • Ability to perform 3D robot simulation studies for offline programming.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with CAROTT/DE SEIBI, MACHINE SEIBI, ROBOT PRE-DE teams, or Body Weld maintenance.
  • Experience with Visual Components (BisFactory).
  • Experience in body shop projects or mass production environments.
