Description
As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing all related revenue cycle applications. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain interfaces between EMR, clearinghouse, payer, and financial systems, ensuring seamless communication (EDI/HL7). Leading testing efforts for EMR upgrades and patches, you will also develop and validate reports to guarantee accurate data flow across systems. Your role will involve analyzing and resolving issues affecting but not limited to Materials Management, Accounting, and Patient Financial Services, while identifying opportunities for automation, workflow enhancement, and system optimization.
Position Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• Associate degree in information systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience supporting EMR or enterprise revenue cycle applications.
• Strong understanding of claims processing, billing workflows, and revenue cycle operations.
EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years in revenue cycle applications with 1+ years in healthcare IT environments.
• 1+ years in financial operations, dictionaries, and analysis.
• Experience with HL7, patient access, and revenue cycle interfaces.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• SQL experience (Microsoft SQL Server) preferred
• Experience with EMR platforms required. Meditech experience preferred.
• Interface engine or integration experience. (Summit) preferred.
• IT project implementation experience
