Job Description EMR Analyst Position Summary The EMR Analyst serves as the technical and operational subject matter expert for the electronic medical record (EMR) platform, supporting clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows, enhance user experience, and ensure the system aligns with operational and patient care needs. This role provides application support, troubleshooting, process improvement, training, and ongoing system maintenance while collaborating across departments to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary operational and technical support resource for the eClinicalWorks EMR platform.

Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions and process improvements. Analyze business workflows and translate operational needs into system enhancements, requirements, and documented procedures. Support EMR-related projects by monitoring timelines, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating updates.

Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures. Deliver end-user support and training to clinical and administrative staff. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain and improve system functionality and performance.

Manage and document support requests within the ticketing system and ensure timely issue resolution. Assist in maintaining and supporting all functional areas of the EMR environment. Promote process consistency, documentation standards, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Required Experience Minimum four (4) years of experience in business application analysis, EMR administration, project management, or related technical support roles. Hands-on experience supporting and administering eClinicalWorks is required.

Experience supporting web-based applications and business systems preferred. Medical office or healthcare operations experience preferred. Experience delivering training and supporting end-user adoption preferred.

Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree or higher preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and healthcare application support.

Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Understanding of healthcare privacy standards and HIPAA compliance requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to varied audiences.

Ability to document processes, procedures, and technical solutions effectively. Experience working within project lifecycles and project management methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business applications.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality. Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Work Schedule Monday-Friday | Standard business hours Additional hours may be required based on project timelines and business needs. Occasional travel to office or clinic locations may be required.

Work Environment Office-based environment utilizing standard office equipment. Primarily sedentary role with occasional standing, filing, lifting, and movement between work areas. Requires close attention to detail and regular computer-based work.
