About the Role:

As a Data Analyst at North Florida Pediatrics within the Health Care industry, you responsible for reporting, compiling and organizing healthcare data, analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management. Data Analyst oversee the practice data management and analytics. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to understand complex healthcare policies and will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Projects are episodic; they typically last from a few days to several weeks, with several projects over the course of a year.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years’ experience in an analytic role and/or healthcare field.

  • 2+ years’ experience in HIM, Health Informatics or related field including at least 2-years in outpatient clinic involving EMY systems, HIM software, data quality management and security records access
  • Knowledgeable with Windows 11 Desktop Operating System
  • Experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting of Desktop Applications like Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Google Docs, Adobe, and the like
  • Hardware: Perform initial diagnosis and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Knowledgeable with Networking: Fundamentals like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and basic router/switch config.
  • Knowledgeable with Electronic Healthcare Record: Basic user administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and report generation with the following EHR systems: NextGen, eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Knowledgeable with maintaining and developing enhancements for the company's Power BI reports and dashboards 
  • knowledgeable with Excel Macros and with any of these Scripting: Microsoft SQL, KSQL, PowerBI, Power Apps, or Power Automate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with excel for data manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of data management applications
  • Proficiency in managing electronic medical records, experience with NextGen/ECW preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for acquiring, integration, and transforming data from multiple internal and external data sources.

  • Translates the data needed for the business to structure and provide recurring data extract and develops analytics and reports solutions for strategic problems.

  • Responds to requests for data by determining needs, collecting, organizing, and analyzing data warehouse to ensure accurate and timely availability of data.

  • Maintains and applies knowledge of current trends, practices and developments in the healthcare analytical industry.

  • Works to develop automated capabilities wherever possible.

  • Synthesizes findings and implications into recommendations for the business that are understandable by various functions and teams.

  • Present complex data in written and oral formats clearly and concisely.

  • Collaborates with management to analyze and provide solutions for duplicates or other inaccuracies in the EMR.

  • Trains and support clinical and non-staff in the use of the EMR system to include LUMA and scheduling.

  • Develop reports for management to measure performance and status in workflow.
