Job description

The Senior Data Analyst Lead is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, integration, and accessibility of resources which enable effective and reliable data analytics and business intelligence. The Senior Analyst Lead is responsible for leading the development and delivery of reports, data analytics, dashboards, and other analytical solutions used by our business partners.

Qualificatiions (R equired & P referred) :Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or Associates Degree with experience (R);

Experience:

5 years’ experience in field (P); 5 years’ experience Data Analytics and Reporting (R)

Areas of Knowledge:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (R), Experience developing data cubes and reporting dashboards using Targit (or equivalent reporting tool) (R), Power BI (R), Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software suites and reporting applications (D365), (R), Must possess skills to convey complex ideas to non-technical audiences (R), Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within IT and with business partners (R), Self-motivated, able to work effectively both independently and cooperatively, and has had proven success working as a member of a team (R), Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities requiring a strong work ethic that stresses delivery of sound, accurate data (R), Knowledge of database structures (P), Advanced knowledge and demonstrated understanding of developing and tuning complex queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions (P)

Role Responsibilities:
  • Participate as member of the core data management team representing and responsible for creating an integrated, data-driven environment.
  • Develop and execute strategies to provide timely data and analysis concerning strategic initiatives.
  • Integrate our diverse data and reporting environments.
  • Apply quantitative expertise to business issues.
  • Assist with moving from Targit to Power BI.
  • Foster collaboration across departments/organizations to ensure flow of data required for analysis and to identify new opportunities.
  • Oversee the architecture and management of the data warehouse, including optimizing its design, ensuring data integrity and incorporating new data elements.
  • Work with Get2Insights on upgrading and improving Targit.
  • Diagnose and solve system and data issues in the data warehouse.
