They collect, process, and interpret data to help clients make informed decisions, often using tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R. Freelance data analysts may work with businesses across various industries, providing insights, building reports, and creating data visualizations. Their flexible work arrangement allows them to take on multiple clients and projects according to their expertise and availability.

As a freelance data analyst, your duties are to collect data and interpret it for your client on a contract basis. Data analysts can work in many industries and fields, including sales, logistics, social science research, government and nonprofit, market research, banking, and healthcare, to name just a few. Your specific responsibilities may differ depending on the field. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Job Description: Senior Analyst, Content Marketing

About the Role

At Salesforce, our product marketers craft inspirational stories and deliver content that moves people - from first click to closed deal. We develop messaging, campaigns, digital programs, and experiences that drive pipeline and win customers. This role sits at the center of that engine, supporting Agentforce Service and Field Service.
We're looking for a self-starting, team-oriented content marketing professional who is a maker at heart. This is a generalist role embedded in the Agentforce Service PMM team: someone who loves wearing many hats, thrives across channels, and is eager to build their skills across a wide range of marketing work. You'll have broad exposure across digital, social, campaigns, content, and events.
You'll write, publish, edit, and distribute content that speaks to service and customer experience buyers. One day you're authoring an SEO article about AI-powered service; the next you're editing a social post or publishing a landing page in Page Builder. If you're energized by variety, have the get-it-done confidence to pick up new projects even in the face of ambiguity, and want to grow your skills across digital, social, campaigns, and content - this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Content Development & Execution

* Author SEO articles and web content that drives organic traffic and supports our AIO strategy
* Write and edit copy across channels - web, social, email, campaign assets, and more
* Publish content directly in Page Builder (WEM/CMS experience required); manage the end-to-end publishing workflow
* Support campaign and ABM execution by developing content deliverables - think one-pagers, landing page copy, nurture emails, and targeted assets - in close partnership with PMM and campaign strategists
* Contribute to event marketing efforts, including pre/post event content and on-site support as needed

Social & Digital

* Monitor social performance and contribute ideas to improve engagement
* Support digital marketing initiatives including landing pages, paid content, and web updates

Video & Creative

* Edit video content for social, web, and campaigns (strong plus)
* Collaborate with creative and production teams to deliver polished, on-brand multimedia assets

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work closely with demand gen, campaigns, digital, product marketing, and events teams
* Be a nimble, reliable contributor who can pick up work across the marketing org as priorities shift
* Support agency and freelance relationships as needed

Data & Optimization

* Use performance data and SEO insights to inform content decisions
* Help track and report on content impact across owned channels
* Assist with competitive and audience research to surface content opportunities

Qualifications

Required

* 2-4 years of background in content marketing, digital marketing, or a closely related role
* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across formats and audiences
* Hands-on experience with a web content management system (WEM/CMS/Page Builder experience strongly preferred)
* Proven background authoring content (blog posts, articles, web copy) that performs in organic search and surfaces in AI-generated answers and featured results (SEO, AEO)
* Comfort using data and analytics to inform content decisions and contribute to measurable marketing metrics
* Proficiency managing or contributing to social media content (organic)
* Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Slackbot) to accelerate content production
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred

* Video editing skills and background producing content for social or web (strong plus)
* Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology marketing, including familiarity with Salesforce products or other SaaS platforms
* Familiarity with review platforms such as G2, TrustRadius, or Gartner Peer Insights - and how they factor into buyer research and content strategy
* Familiarity with marketing automation, analytics, and social media management platforms
* A winning attitude that inspires optimism and a desire to always be learning

What Success Looks Like

* A steady cadence of high-quality, published content across web, social, and campaigns
* Content that performs - AEO- and SEO-optimized pieces that drive organic traffic and engagement
* Reliable contribution to campaign and ABM content deliverables on time and on brand
* A reputation as a creative, dependable team member who can flex across the marketing org
