About The Role

The Business Associate, Client Engagement is responsible to ensure that Altasciences maintains strong traction in the industry through continuous strategic reach-outs to prospect clients. He/she will work closely with the Business Development and the Marketing team as a resource in contacting organizations Altasciences does not currently partner with, using various communication channels and softwares.

Business Associate, Client Engagement will drive the lead qualification engine and work closely with the sales organization to maintain and expand Altasciences' database of prospects within his/her assigned territory.

What You'll Do Here

  • Research accounts, identify key players, decision makers and generate interest;

  • Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, LinkedIn, and independent research;

  • Work with individual members of Business Development on maximizing reach outs linked to Business Travel and/or Conferences;

  • Email assigned leads and create appointments and meetings;

  • Responsible for routine monitoring of Altasciences webchat and website inquiries, and routing opportunities to appropriate sales directors as assigned by management;

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails;

  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales directors for further development and closure;

  • Create meaningful outbound campaigns tailored to potential prospects' needs by leveraging creative writing skills, available marketing and sales materials, and collaboration with Altasciences Marketing and subject matter experts;

  • Work with management to ensure that reach-outs are being tracked accordingly in the CRM;

  • Manage prospecting campaign.

  • Document all client-related communication in Salesforce derived from email/LinkedIn reach-outs, campaigns, webchat, website inquiries, meetings, business travel, and teleconferences; Responsible for providing an individual performance report and metrics to management as requested.

  • Responsible for creating and/or reviewing prospecting KPI reports for management monthly and quarterly;

  • Other assigned tasks as requested.

  • Maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment, building partnerships with cross-functional departments and creating a team-based culture

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • B.Sc. or higher level degree in Marketing or related field. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu.

  • Successful experience in business-to-business sales in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or life sciences preferred;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exemplary professionalism are required;

  • Must have ability to work independently, be highly motivated and a team player;

  • Persuasive communication style, strategic thinking and organization skills required;

  • Goal-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills;

  • Enthusiastic demeanor with the natural ability to influence customers.
