Job description

Our law firm is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of two years of successful personal injury case experience. Compensation:

$90,000 - $120,000 + bonus DOE


Responsibilities:
  • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
  • Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system
  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
  • Arrange suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate

Qualifications:
  • State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
  • Proficiency in computers is vital
  • Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills are highly valued
  • A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired
  • A JD degree and Florida bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history
  • Two years of legal experience
  • A genuine interest in the personal injury field
  • A Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior oral and written advocacy skills
