Job description

Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Travel Manager to support and streamline our company’s travel operations. In this role, you will ensure all employee travel is arranged efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with company policies. You will collaborate closely with employees, managers, and our third‑party travel platform to deliver a smooth and positive travel experience.

This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to improving travel processes, policies, and systems as the company continues to scale.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with our third-party travel platform to book travel and resolve any issues 
  • Communicate travel guidelines, updates, and policy changes clearly across the organization 
  • Monitor adherence to company travel policies and provide guidance to ensure compliance 
  • Review and reconcile travel receipts with submitted expenses to ensure accuracy and policy alignment 
  • Partner with the Accounting team to improve and streamline travel and expense processes 
  • Identify opportunities to optimize travel costs and improve overall efficiency 
  • Provide training and one-on-one support to help employees effectively use the travel platform 
  • Handle exceptions and unique scenarios by assessing situations, determining next steps, and escalating when appropriate 
  • Reconcile expenses and cards on monthly basis for accounting purpose
  • Partner with the Controller to assess vendors and contribute to selecting the most effective travel platform for the organization 
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all work 

Minimum Qualifications
  •  3+ years of experience in corporate travel coordination, travel management, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with expense and travel platforms (e.g., Ramp, Navan, or similar tools) 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support employees in time-sensitive situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Experience in a startup or growth‑oriented environment is a plus

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Identify areas for improvement in travel processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and employee experience 
  • Assist in maintaining and updating company travel policies as needed 
  • Analyze travel spending and usage trends to recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements 
  • Support evaluation of current travel tools and platforms, and assist in identifying better solutions as needed 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within travel operations as the company grows

Additional Information:
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
