Job description

Kohl Wholesale is looking to hire an assist transportation manager in managing the transportation systems for the company. Monitor and execute the transportation systems for the company. Create and maintain communication between customers, drivers, sales teammates, and company. Improve routes efficiency
in the most cost-effective method to achieve customer satisfaction. Give and receive feedback to driver teammates on route effectiveness and maintain balance of teammate satisfaction and company efficiencies.
Hours: 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Sunday - Thursday, Additional as Required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED. Management or leadership degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience required.
  • Able to think critically and solve problems.
  • Should possess ability to recognize and correct problems, request assistance to correct them when necessary, or refer them to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Able to work under stress and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and reaching. Exposure to uncomfortable temperature levels.
  • Occasional exposure to environmental variation and weather changes if working outside the warehouse.
  • Physical strength needs are minimal.
  • Must have visual and aural faculties sufficient to enable employee to perform all tasks as set forth and assigned to him/her.
