Job description

Branch Operations Supervisor

Pay: $68,000–$82,000/year

Department: Service and Operations

FLSA Status: Exempt


MTI is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to oversee daily branch operations, including warehouse activities, delivery coordination, customer service, order processing, and preowned equipment management. This role ensures efficient operations, accurate order fulfillment, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage equipment deliveries, pickups, and transportation schedules while serving as the main customer contact for delivery updates.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and workplace safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting walk-in customers, processing orders, and coordinating customer pickups.
  • Manage order processing, invoicing, parts returns, and documentation while ensuring order accuracy and timely execution.
  • Prepare equipment for delivery, perform quality inspections, and ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Administer preowned equipment inventory, including inspections, documentation, lease returns, tracking, and resale preparation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Operations teams to support efficient branch operations.
  • Drive process improvements by documenting workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, dealership operations, or a related field.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving, dispatching, inventory management, and ERP or dealership management systems preferred.

Work Environment

  • Primarily onsite role (Monday–Friday)
  • Standard working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Regular interaction with customers, sales personnel, service technicians, warehouse staff, vendors, and transportation providers.
  • Combination of office, warehouse, yard, and outdoor work environments.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, responsiveness, and strong prioritization skills.
