Account Technician
Summary: Repair equipment in designated location in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair, collection, cleaning, and general maintenance of coin-operated amusement games, attractions and debit card system.
- Keep inventory for parts, merchandise, game cards, and tickets and assist other company personnel in keeping these at the needed levels of operation.
- Maintain accurate accounting, payout percentage (redemption-merchandisers) reports from the location, and provide them promptly to the corporate office and to the location and assist office personnel with account reconciliations and percentage calculations.
- Assist in location promotions/tournaments as well as the preparation and delivery of equipment.
- Refurbishes used and new video game equipment to company-specific standards.
- Troubleshoots computers to the modular level.
- Uses diagnostic tools (multi-meter) to determine repair plans.
- Maintains tools and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Tests functionality and performance of games on a regular basis.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with all hand tools.
- Must know how to use a multi-meter.
- Must be able to work with low voltage, 5v,12v,24v and 48v.
- Must possess and maintain a current/valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable working on a ladder up to 10' high.
- Must be comfortable working in tight or confined spaces.
- Must be willing to keep a clean and safe workplace whether in the shop or on location.
- Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Overtime Required – this may include longer days during the work week and/or Saturdays and Sundays.
- Amusement/Vending Industry experience a plus, but not necessary.
- Basic Computer skill is required, and paperwork skills are a plus.
