Job description

About the Role:
You'll support the Trust and Estate Settlement team by organizing estate planning documents, assisting with client strategies, and managing administrative tasks like scheduling, correspondence, and data reporting. Your experience with trust documents, project coordination, and client service will help ensure smooth operations and exceptional support.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Support Trust and Estate Settlement team in implementing clients' immediate and long-term trust and estate strategies.
  • Assist Trust and Estate Settlement team with organizing and understanding estate documents and structures (i.e. wills, trusts, powers-of-attorney, health care directives, pre-nuptials, partnership agreements, irrevocable life insurance trusts, etc.).
  • Research, gather, and compile data and information and prepare reports and summaries from a variety of sources.
  • Provide and/or oversee support activities, including answering telephones; resolving problems and inquiries of visitors; review incoming and outgoing correspondence; and following up on departmental commitments.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, events and/or travel arrangements.
  • Establish, update, and maintain files, inventories, records and data management systems.
  • Provide flexible, friendly and proactive service to clients.

What You'll Bring to Baird:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 experience as a trust associate or administrative assistant in securities-related industry.
  • Familiarity with trust documents and Wills/Codicils used in estate planning; including tax liability reporting concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Experience in project management for both long- and short-term projects.
