Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Counseling Services: Conduct individual therapy sessions for women aged 35-55, focusing on mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, midlife transitions, and relationship dynamics. Utilize person-centered techniques to create a welcoming and safe space for clients.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Craft personalized treatment strategies by assessing each client's unique needs and preferences. Incorporate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address behavioral patterns.
  • Conduct Virtual Sessions: Utilize secure telehealth platforms to carry out therapy sessions, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for all clients. Maintain adeptness with technology to provide seamless sessions.
  • Monitor Client Progress: Regularly evaluate client engagement and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on progress and feedback. Document session notes and client interactions meticulously to ensure clarity and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work in partnership with our multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and providing referrals to other specialists as necessary. Participate in team meetings to discuss client cases and share best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with women between the ages of 35 and 55, addressing mental health challenges during crucial life stages, including career transitions, family dynamics, and personal growth. Your role is instrumental in providing therapeutic support that encourages clients to navigate these challenges effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling, preferably in outpatient settings.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal frameworks pertaining to mental health practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills, as well as a collaborative team player.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in trauma-informed care or working with womenโ€™s mental health issues is highly desirable.
