Your Mission:
Step into a high-impact role where you'll learn, lead, and level up. You'll work side-by-side with the Quality Manager to master our processes, elevate product standards, and drive real improvements across the operation. What You'll Be Doing (And Growing Into):
  • Learn and master our quality standards, product specs, and inspection processes across cabinetry manufacturing
  • Partner with production and finishing teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and implement real-time solutions
  • Analyze key quality metrics like defect rates, scrap, rework, and first-pass yield to uncover trends and drive improvements
  • Support and improve SOPs, inspection processes, and quality documentation to strengthen consistency
  • Assist in root cause analysis and lead corrective actions that actually stick
  • Monitor finishing quality (stain, paint, clear coat) and construction processes to ensure every product meets standard
  • Build dashboards and reports to communicate quality performance and influence decisions
  • Respond with urgency to production floor issues, because quality can't wait
  • Help coach inspectors and production teams, developing the next generation of quality-focused employees

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in cabinet or wood product manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of finishing processes (stain, paint, clear coat) and defect troubleshooting
  • Experience with quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • A data-driven mindset, you don't guess, you analyze
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of urgency
  • Natural leadership ability with the desire to grow into a Quality Manager role

Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience with industry standards like KCMA
  • Experience with quality dashboards, reporting tools, or advanced spreadsheets
  • Hands-on experience repairing minor cosmetic cabinet defects
