Job Summary:
Kaleris is seeking a Sr. AI Developer who approaches every challenge with an AI-first mindset. This role involves driving enterprise application modernization by designing, building, and operationalizing AI-powered solutions that enhance business processes and reduce costs.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement generative AI features using LLMs (GPT-4+, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
• Build intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and conversational interfaces into business applications
• Orchestrate multi-step agentic workflows with function calling and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
• Architect AI infrastructure including vector databases, embeddings, knowledge graphs, and semantic search
• Champion AI-assisted development practices using AI code assistants, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery
• Build custom applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and modern web frameworks to replace and consolidate SaaS tools
• Architect scalable, secure, maintainable solutions with enterprise-grade integrations (Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian)
• Design cloud-native solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure) leveraging serverless, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise security protocols
• Develop and maintain data integrations that unify workflows and eliminate manual processes
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for maintainability, knowledge transfer, and team enablement
• Lead requirements discovery and collaborate with business stakeholders to map, optimize, and reimagine processes across departments
• Evaluate SaaS contracts and identify strategic replacement opportunities with compelling business cases
• Present technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and ROI analyses to executive audiences in clear, business-focused terms
• Challenge and validate solution strategies, ensuring scalability, robustness, and measurable business impact
• Mentor developers, analysts, and solution engineers in multidisciplinary squads
• Foster collaboration and technical excellence through workshops, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
• Drive user adoption and change management by articulating business value, delivering training, and collecting actionable feedback
• Establish best practices and architectural patterns for AI-driven application development
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years in software/web engineering roles with progressive responsibility
• API & security mastery: Deep understanding of REST, GraphQL, OAuth, JWT, SSO, and secure integration patterns
• Cloud-native development: Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Demonstrated ability to build business cases with ROI analysis
• Experience presenting technical solutions to senior leadership (Director level or above)
• Process discovery and solution consulting background
• Track record driving user adoption of new technologies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
• Experience mentoring technical teams
Preferred:
• Platform-specific development: Salesforce (Apex/LWC), NetSuite (SuiteScript/SuiteCloud), Atlassian (Forge/Connect apps)
• Advanced AI infrastructure: Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), knowledge graphs, semantic search
• Experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, and AI agent frameworks
• GraphQL expertise
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• SSO and advanced security implementations
• Expert-level proficiency: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and modern web frameworks
• Proven AI/ML experience: Hands-on work with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and AI agent frameworks
• Enterprise integration expertise: Track record integrating with platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian, SAP, or ServiceNow via APIs, SDKs, and webhooks
• Change management certification or formal training
• Background in supply chain, logistics, or enterprise software domains
• TCO modeling and cost optimization analysis experience
• Experience with SaaS contract negotiations
• Training delivery and curriculum development
