Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Assistant electrical Project Manager/Engineer in Bloomington, IL. The Assistant Electrical Project Manager/Engineer will support the coordination and execution of complex commercial and mission-critical electrical projects. This role is designed for a motivated professional eager to advance into full project management while gaining hands-on exposure to design-build construction, project logistics, and electrical coordination.

Annual Salary: $120,000 to $125,000 Annually BOE
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with project coordination, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Support the processing and tracking of RFIs, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.
- Coordinate daily activities with field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Assist with project budgeting, financial tracking, and logistical planning.
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Accubid/Trimble software for project management tasks.
- Participate in project meetings and site-level coordination for mission-critical environments.
- Support design-build efforts and project logistics throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with change order management.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably within electrical construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with mission-critical or complex commercial electrical projects.
- Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, and Accubid or Trimble software.
- Strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn complex electrical systems.
- Previous IBEW experience or internship experience with electrical contractors preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage diverse project stakeholders.
- Highly motivated to develop into a full Project Management role.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to operate a computer.
- Ability to perform field inspections, including climbing stairs and ladders.
- Ability to walk across construction sites and navigate uneven terrain.
- Potential exposure to construction site conditions, including heights and loud noises.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending during site visits.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $125,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
