Responsibilities

The APM, Pre-Construction will be responsible for supporting the planning and development phases of solar energy projects. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that projects are designed, planned, and prepared for construction in accordance with company standards, timelines, and budgets. The ideal candidate will have experience in solar project management, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and strong leadership skills.

  • Project Planning: Support the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for solar energy projects from inception to construction readiness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project designs meet specifications and comply with industry standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Navigate local, state, and federal regulations related to solar energy projects, including permitting and interconnection processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication Support: Act as a key liaison for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, providing timely updates, facilitating clear communication, and supporting their needs throughout the project.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage and coordinate resources, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring all parties are aligned with project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Assist in maintaining quality control processes to ensure all aspects of the pre-construction phase align with company and industry standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • 3 years of renewable energy project experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Proven experience managing pre-construction activities, including site assessments, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in project management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
