Assistant Superintendent / Assistant Project Manager (Construction - Multifamily)
PRECISION GCC

Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent / Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support project delivery on multifamily construction projects. This role partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules, manage documentation, support field operations, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support construction project management and field operations on multifamily builds
  • Assist with project scheduling using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera (critical path, sequencing, milestones)
  • Manage project documentation (plans, drawings, RFIs, submittals) and maintain organized records
  • Coordinate SWPPP compliance, permits, and environmental documentation
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination, punch lists, and project closeout
  • Track material deliveries, inventory, and logistics to avoid project delays
  • Conduct and support quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Monitor job site for OSHA safety compliance and participate in safety meetings and training
  • Support budget tracking, cost reporting, and financial updates
  • Facilitate communication between field teams, project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Help resolve technical and logistical issues in collaboration with the project team
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of construction experience (projects $2M+ preferred)
  • Experience in multifamily construction strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and critical path methods
  • Experience with construction project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera)
  • Understanding of construction documents, RFIs, and submittals
  • Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA) and job site compliance
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work on active construction sites (standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs)
  • Ability to work at a desk and computer for extended periods
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
