Scope of Position

The Associate Production Scheduler supports the creation of detailed, time-phased production schedules by SKU and line. This role focuses on short-term planning and execution, ensuring schedule adherence and supporting on-time, in-full delivery. The Associate Production Scheduler works under guidance to balance capacity and service levels while learning to optimize production efficiency.

This position does not have direct reports.

This position reports to Master Scheduler. This role is onsite and is based in Export, PA.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

Planner and Analyst

Assist in translating supply plans into executable production schedules.

Generate and maintain near-term process orders based on asset availability and labor constraints.

Monitor schedule adherence and escalate issues as needed.

Participate in S&OP/S&OE meetings to understand planning priorities.

Customer Focus

Communicate potential service risks to planning and operations teams.

Support efforts to maintain ATP (available to promise) commitments.

Assist in root cause analysis for missed service metrics.

Executional Partner

Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to address daily execution issues.

Support "what-if" scenario planning under supervision.

Systems and Data Owner

Maintain basic scheduling master data (e.g., run rates, yields).

Track actual vs. planned performance and report discrepancies.

Reporting and RCA

Monitor and report on schedule adherence and production attainment.

Support preparation of scheduling metrics for planning reviews.

Process Improvement

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Share observations and suggestions for improving scheduling processes.

Material Assisting

Responsible for the purchasing of indirect materials to support the business needs

Assist in Change Order processing from Customer Service

Manage the daily order reconciliation process to ensure shipping accuracy and completeness

Support New Product Development and Continuous Improvement initiatives

Support in the management and maintenance of Quality Business System documents and processes

Support the annual physical inventory

Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Company management.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.

1-2 years of experience in production scheduling or manufacturing operations.

Basic understanding of MRP systems

Strong organizational and communication skills

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.

Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Export, PA location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
