Overview
Ortho Molecular Products is a leading manufacturer of dietary supplements with over 35 years of stability and success in a team-focused, values-driven culture. This role is on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, on-site role in Stevens Point, WI.
What to Expect:
  • Create visible daily full floor schedule by room and hour including production, sanitation and maintenance
  • Quantify and monitor expected output numbers from Vorne or historical data
  • Determine the supplies, labor, and equipment needed and how to allocate them efficiently
  • Ensure production plan/ schedule is shared with supervisors and material handler
  • Minimize equipment downtime through effective scheduling and organization of resources
  • Track and report on manufacturing start and finish on time and issues
  • Provide on-the-floor oversight of production schedule attainment to adjust schedule needs
  • Oversee Vorne data reporting to evaluate and identify improvement opportunities and trends

What You Will Contribute:
  • Technical or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Manufacturing based)
  • 1- 3 years of experience in production scheduling and manufacturing planning
  • High level understanding of manufacturing functions, equipment performance, staff abilities
  • 1-3 years experience in data analysis and review for performance improvements
