ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER

We are currently seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to provide support to our Practice Managers, the Staffing Scheduler and the Director of Clinic Operations. This individual will work toward efficient and effective clinic workflows with an emphasis on a variety of special projects and assignments.

This is a full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hybrid role (remote and in-office) requiring travel outside of San Antonio (approximately 25%) depending on organizational growth and business needs. Responsibilities will require this individual to work in a variety of clinic locations and our corporate office, which is in the Shavano Park area of San Antonio.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to projects, procurement, coordinate tasks, and follow up on progress based on established objectivesand deadlines.This includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing information utilizingdata from various sources.
  • Act as back up staffing scheduling coordinator for physician and clinical positions.To include ensuring communication of schedule deviations along with synchronizing EMR & scheduling software.Collaborate with Team Leaders, Float and PRN staff while keeping Practice Managers apprised of situations needing resolution.
  • Provide back-up staffing and training as directed for clinical positions.
  • Working knowledge of current company policies and procedures, contribute as needed for future documentation.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of clinical team members.
  • Assistas directed, to include:
    • Promoting program marketing efforts to improve and maintainpatientengagement.
    • Arranging health education events and programs for current and prospective patients and employees.
    • Establish and maintaina good rapport with patients,clients and employees to achieve relationship goals, reporting any deficits and incident reporting methods as needed.
    • Facilitating patient wellness and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, and identification of resources.
  • Assist with and independently conduct specialty program events for pre-arranged classes
  • Perform other duties and special assignments as needed
  • Daily work environment will be dynamic, consisting primarily in clinics across the enterprise and company administrative office with some remote work.
  • Afternoon/evening on call approximately every3 weeks for staffing
