From site selection to data center construction and operations, Stream develops wholesale colocation capacity and build-to-suit facilities for hyperscale and enterprise users in major markets across the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Data Center Property Administrator. This is a hybrid role, with the need to be in office twice a week. The Stream Data Centers finance team is responsible for the controllership of each data center location as well as corporate expenses. We are responsible for forecasting and managing revenue, operating and capital expenses. We work very closely with our business partners out in the field as well as our internal property and corporate accounting teams. Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable duties - code invoices and verify proper backup, forward them to Property Manager for approval and enter invoices into the payables system.
  • Accounts Receivable duties- prepare and send rent statement invoices monthly and follow up with tenants for payment. Prepare receipt batches for deposit and enter into accounting system.
  • Prepare Aging Reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Quarterly audits of vendor expenses and making sure that all the services that are being billed for were performed and delivered to scope.
  • Assist in the financial planning cycle by collecting input from business partners to build a bottom-up P&L.
  • Assist in monthly spending, and forecast future commitments against leasing/rent, operating expenses including headcount budgets, and capital expenses.
  • Working with property accounting on monthly accruals and variance analysis for a set of buildings in the portfolio.
  • Use multiple data sources to build aforementioned reports (e.g. Yardi, NetSuite, and Excel)
    Support quarter, annual, and ad-hoc planning cycles using corporate goals, historical actual data, and future commitment data.
  • Perform Mailroom tasks including but not limited to scanning and coding invoices to appropriate parties. Reconciling and distributing statements.
  • Support ad hoc processes that do not have a clear owner and work to define more scalable solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • 3+ years experience as a Property Admin
  • 1+ years directly interacting with business operations team
  • Advanced Excel & Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) modeling and data analysis skills
  • Highest regard for accuracy and completeness
  • Comfortable with a P&L
  • Experience with Tipalti, NetSuite, AvidXchange, Yardi or other analytics tools
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity
  • Experience with large numbers of charges, contracts, and accounts
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or economics

The pay range for this role is between $55,000 - 65,000 (base). Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons. Stream Data Centers offers annual bonus, benefits, flexible time off (vacation), 401k and a variety of other perks and benefits.
