About the Role

WalkerHughes Insurance is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to independently manage an established book of business while delivering exceptional client service and driving retention. This role focuses on proactive account management, policy servicing, renewal oversight, and relationship growth.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Client Service

  • Independently manage and service a personal lines book of business
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding policy changes, billing, coverage questions, and claims
  • Process policies, endorsements, renewals, applications, binders, and related documentation with accuracy
  • Maintain organized client files and follow-up activities within agency systems
  • Coordinate with carriers to resolve claims and complex service issues

Renewals & Retention

  • Lead renewal review process, including proactive account reviews prior to renewal
  • Analyze coverage forms and policies to ensure proper protection and identify gaps
  • Resolve client concerns to maintain high retention levels

Growth & Relationship Development

  • Support new sales opportunities generated from referrals and existing clients
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships through consistent communication and service excellence

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in the insurance industry
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines coverage and industry standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency management systems
