About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Medical Office Administrator to join an established medical practice in Pleasanton, CA. This is a forward-facing role that serves as the first point of contact for patients, helping ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient office experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Coordinate referrals and communicate with other healthcare providers
  • Support billing and administrative processes as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized front office environment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a forward-facing office or retail/customer service role
